Where did they come from?
story
I first met the friends of Puffy moffy land about a year ago.
They told me that somewhere in this world, there is a Puffy moffy land.
But they don't remember what that world was like and how they got here.
They are still wondering about it.
There are many mysteries about them.
Maybe there are some meanings why they wear various hoods.
They sometimes remember their country.
They talk about their country in a whispering voice.
They talk about the beautiful flowers and rivers, the delicious food, the fluffy and gentle animals...
But they are getting to like our world, too.
We are looking for a home for them.

About me
Dear all,
My name is Mone and I moved to London from Japan to work as an artist.
Three years ago, alongside my university studies, I created a brand of plush toys.
That is ”Puffy moffy land”.
At first I made stuffed toys for my sister, A little fluffy bear.
After a while, I made gifts for my best friend, my mother and my father. Then, my work became popular among them and Puffy moffy land was born.
Fortunately, I sold them online in Japan and many people bought them.
Talking about myself, I have been suffering from ASD (Autism spectrum disorder) since I was a little girl.
I always had problems with hypersensitivity, anxiety disorders, sleep disorders, hyper focusing and interpersonal relationships.
When I was having a hard time, I felt relieved to be 'something' different. Sometimes I used to go to university wearing a fluffy cat costume.
At that time, it occurred to me that other people around the world were also struggling to fit into this world and were trying their best to live in it.
I strongly felt that I wanted to support them by making plush toys for them.
As I have strong sensory sensitivity due to ASD, I feel comfortable when I wear something fluffy. Especially stuffed animals, hats and hoods.
With these background, I made Puffy moffy land which is like a parallel world to Earth.
Puffy moffy land has just started. My future vision is to make people smile through my work.
And to become a big company that can contribute to social issues (disability, poverty, abuse, etc.)!
About the studio
In ateliers based in London, I create patterns, choose our materials carefully and am always thinking about the next step.
Puffy moffy land's friends are 100% handmade and lovingly crafted in my small atelier.
